Firespot: Panel Protection

• Firespot - panel protection unit is available in 2 kg and 4 kg capacities
• Panel Protection achieved through heat detection tube which runs across the panel covering the devices
• Tube lengths of 5 m, 10 m and 15 m
• In the event of a fire the heat detection tube melts at the portion where it is exposed to the fire causing it to open out like a nozzle, thereby releasing the extinguishing medium
• Finds special use in protecting PLC panels, AC/DC inverter panels, server racks, electrical panels, automotive engine and battery compartments

Firespot: Room Protection

• Firespot - room protection unit is available in 5 kg and 10 kg capacities
• Room protection achieved through specially designed ceiling mounted extinghuishers fitted with electrically actuated valves
• Very early detection of fire is possible as the smoke detectors send the signal to the actuators to release the extinguishing medium
• Finds special use in protecting cable rooms, switchboard rooms, record rooms and small data centers

Feature Benefits

• Can be connected to a central monitoring system through a specially developed Gunnebo Control Unit (GCU) to monitor the actuation of the cylinder in the event of a fire
• In the event of system activation due to fire, the unit sends an sms alert followed by voice call in preassigned intervals until the fault is ackknowledged by any of the maintenance personnel
